Congratulations to Gary Morgan, CDT, CQA/ASQ, on being presented the NADL Merit Award for Outstanding Achievements at the 2023 NADL Vision 21 Meeting in Las Vegas. Gary was presented the award by Heather Voss, President of the National Association of Dental Laboratories on January 20, 2023. Gary was recognized by his peers for achievements in the dental laboratory profession that has meant so much to his life.
Gary Morgan, CDT, CQA/ASQ, is the Vice President and Senior Consultant for SafeLink Consulting. In addition, he is also a Certified Quality Auditor, Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer, and earned his Crown & Bridge CDT certification in 1992. He has been in the dental industry for 45 years and shows no signs of slowing down.
Morgan is the definition of a selfless volunteer, always being willing to make himself available to assist anyone in the industry. He has held many voluntary positions in dental associations and has provided guidance and mentorship to dental technicians and dental laboratory owners. Over the years, he has become known as an expert on the FDA's Quality Management System and has volunteered his services to many organizations, including NADL. Most recently, Gary has volunteered to service as the NADL Representative on the American Dental Association Committee on Dental Products that reviews existing and potential ISO standards related to dental materials, equipment and other technologies that impact dentistry.
Morgan has been a presenter for dental and dental laboratory associations and study groups throughout the United States where he shares his knowledge and expertise, including being a faculty member for the NADL University program since 2014. Morgan is a published author many times over and contributes on regulatory compliance topics to trade journals and publications such as the Journal of Dental Technology, Inside Dental Technology, Lab Management Today, and Focus magazine.
