• Meet OSHA’s Respiratory Protection Standard for medical questionnaires and fit testing when respirators are required for aerosol generating procedures.
• Follow safe practices for the storage and re-use of respirators.

The actions of employees outside the lab can have a huge impact on everyone’s safety. It is important to encourage off-the-clock safe behaviors as well, such as wearing face coverings, avoiding gatherings, and practicing proper hand hygiene. Remind staff that by putting themselves at risk of contracting this disease, they could potentially bring it into the workplace. Stay on top of these safety policies for your protection, the protection of your employees, and the protection of your business.
