Kellie Thimmes of SafeLink Consulting attended the Rise Women in Dentistry Breakfast in Chicago. It was the 9th year for this gathering and attended by nearly 250 women in the dental industry. That's quite a leap from about 10 women the first year!
Last week, women from all over the U.S. gathered at the Chicago Dental Society's Midwinter Meeting and Lab-Day Chicago. Among the attendees were nearly 250 women who took part in the Rise Women in Dentistry Breakfast, generously sponsored by Glidewell and Dental Trade Alliance. Stephanie Goddard, the esteemed CEO of Glidewell, graced the event as one of the hosts, leading engaging panels where women shared their unique experiences in what was once a predominantly male-dominated industry. Everyone was encouraged to see so many women in top positions in many nationally known dental companies. Kellie met some amazing women at this event and looks forward to seeing it grow even more over this coming year.
