Hazardous Materials in the Dental Laboratory - A Changing Paradigm
Gary will take a detailed look at OSHA's standards on Toxic and Hazardous Substances. Many traditional materials used in manufacturing dental appliances pose significant health risks to technicians. New materials introduced in dental laboratories due to new processes in manufacturing may pose risks that may affect the way employers address those risks to protect employees from overexposure to these toxic and hazardous materials. Gary will review OSHA's requirements for providing a healthy workplace.
